On The Way From There To Here:
A Collection Of Midlength Journeys

A collection of midlength stories, mostly around 3000-8000 words. I find stories this length nice to sink my teeth into - it is possible to move beyond the single moment that is the vignette, but retain its concise flavour with a journey that sheds light on the bigger journey. It is, if you like, the journey in small. This collection has a mixture of characters and motifs, but each story has a bigger story to tell.

Prism
Casefile written in collaboration. A killer with a penchant for mind games presents a challenge for the team - and a crisis for one of their number. Part of XFVCU.

Catacomb
Casefile, Jeffrey POV. An abandoned monastery. A demented mystic. Another agent's mess. A hell of a lot of bodies. Part of XFVCU.

Midnight In The Firing Line
Post-The Truth casefile. Eighteen months after The Truth, all the old players are back in a new formation. This story is the premiere episode for XFVCU.

Concessions Made / Concessions Broken
Concessions: The Reckoning

Pre-XF R-rated series (each stands alone). In times of war, concessions must be made. Jeffrey/Samantha. Content advisory: incest between consenting adult siblings.

Christmas Reunions: St Petersburg
Christmas Reunions: Sydney
Christmas Reunions: Afterword

PG. It's Christmas 2001, and two couples come to terms with the past, and face the future together. Krycek/Marita (St Petersburg), Jeffrey/Diana (Sydney).

Searing Snow
PG, post-Requiem. For Christmas 2000, Krycek and Marita want the thing they fear the most: each other.

The Traitors
Post-episode, TINH, PG. "TIME takes an inside look at the secret life, and the private world of this real-life Boris and Natasha, who never came in from the cold." Krycek/Marita.
