This one's here because a couple of readers felt it smacked of anti-Scully polemic. I viewed it more as POV-driven commentary, but I can sort of see why they felt that way. (To be fair, other Scullyists quite liked it, so I don't really know whether it's fair criticism or not).

It's not a bad work, but I've grown beyond it.

This novel-length saga was my very first fan fiction back in 1996. Actually, it's not a bad piece. Probably its worst failing is a tendency to excessive adverbs.

Scully's tour of duty in the Gulf with Skinner drew them together. But they would leave the killing fields with more than Purple Hearts. Mythology to The End. This novel length story is temporarily on hold, but still on the agenda. This piece has some really good moments, in fact, and it probably would be on the main page if it was complete. The Mulder characterisation is probably the worst part of it. That needs cleaning up.
